Duck Hunting Schedule: This Season (October 1st-March 31)
The Ultimate in NC Duck Hunting. Private Preserve Hunts on Old Family Farm Land close to our Western NC Piedmont & NC Mountain Base Camps in Blowing Rock and Boone NC. Quality hunts close to home or where you are lodging. We are an easy drive from Charlotte, Winston-Salem, Greensboro, Asheville, Eastern TN, & Southwest Va.
You will hunt from a blind at one of our beautiful duck pond / impoundment habitats. There is such internal excitement of waiting for the Retriever to "Break to retrieve"! Suddenly, the quite serenity will end by the sound of calling Mallards. An adrenalin rush will strike as you become engrossed in the hunt. You and your hunting partners trying to keep calm will seem impossible as the calling Mallards work the decoy spread.
What better way to entertain, family, friends, customers, employee outing, team building, birthdays, anniversary, retirement, wedding parties, etc., by enjoying and experiencing time together. As one of our many guests stated; "I took my son on his first Duck Hunt, Quail Hunt, and Clay Target Shooting, including lunch, all on the same day and we were able to finish up by 3pm. This type of Preserve Waterfowl Hunting will be a great opportunity for you to try Duck Hunting without the need to invest in all the gear needed and all this without the major burden of traveling time as well as money that is associated with waterfowl hunting the Atlantic or the Mississippi Flyways of North America.
Your Private Early AM/Late PM, Half-Day and/or Optional Full-Day Action Packed Hunt Includes:
- On our Private Wetland / Waterfowl Mallard Duck Hunts (You may want a combo to include a Upland Quail, Chukar Partridge, Pheasant Hunt ) ( See Quail, Chukar, Pheasant Hunt Details )
- One (1) to Three (3) Hunters on each hunting party.
- We provide Blinds, Stands, and Decoys.
- We provide bird cleaning facilities and Carcass Disposal.
- No bag limits on Drake and / or Hen Mallard Hunts, so you pay for what you bagged / harvested
- A great place for the youngest and the oldest of Waterfowlers to hunt duck. All hunts are guided and our dogs will retrieve, or trained dogs are welcome but require advance notification. Mallard Ducks being migratory will come and go. We are working to establish a flock in the impoundment / ponds.
- Spend Time After your Duck Hunt, with a booked Upland Bird Hunt or Breaking Clays with a (150) Clay Target Shooting Package for $295 for entire Hunting Party.
- Round-trip transportation from Blowing Rock or Pick you up along the way from Blowing Rock area to our Private Family Farm Preserves and return transportation on the way back to Blowing Rock to your Resorts, Inns, Hotels, Cabins, etc. at no charge.
- Lodging Locations-Check with me 1st, I may be able to get you a discount. Ask when you book with me.
- UTV / Carts transport hunters from Club House to fields / ponds if needed at no charge.
- Shotguns available 12 gauge for rent for $25 per hunter (Cash)
- Shotgun shells/ammo game loads available for purchase for $15 per box (Cash)
- Guns and ammo. 12 gauge or larger shotgun, Non-toxic shot is required for hunting waterfowl. Steel shot is more cost effective and we recommend #2 shot and tungsten either #2 or #4 shot.
