Your sections of private streams are set between and near three Private Fly-Fishing Clubs where if you want to fish those streams, you have to be a property owner and or a member to the tune of approximate a few hundred thousand dollars. So as you see, you are getting the opportunity to fish on a very special stretch of stream. In addition, your private section is a part of the only stream in the entire Watauga River Basin that is classified as "Outstanding Resource Water." The NC Division of Water Quality classified the water quality as "excellent." The Boone Fork or The Watauga Gorge is not an ordinary or state stocked trout stream. Please see for yourself my photo galleries from our website; www.mountainstocoast.com An overnight trip allows you to still be fishing while we prepare dinner or simply kick back and relax with the rush of a private pristine stream, instead of a hotel room and restaurant. When you wake, fishing is just a short distance away. In addition to the relaxed atmosphere, our ability to maximize our service to you increases. Overnight trips are quickly becoming one of our most popular Fly-Fishing Guided Trips. All of this combined with our outstanding guide service and you're really in for a Trip of a Lifetime. You might want to do a Cast and Blast Day instead of a full fishing day. This way you could fly fish for mountain trout in the morning, do lunch, then shoot clay targets in the afternoon, your call, you have choices. Again, this trip is all inclusive....we provide everything you need to be comfortable for the perfect overnight adventure.

Please remember and understand this all-inclusive special trip package of $1,900 is based on a 2 person booking.....pricing of $1,900 is the same for 1 person or $950 per each of the 2 guests.

Testimonials

Letter from David L. Hughes

Dear Carl,
I finally got around to getting my film developed and this one enlarged. It was the best of them and the trout looks most like a 5 pounder in it... maybe we don't have to lie about it! That day with you and James is still the highlight of my fishing year. I haven't much chance to get out since. Best, Dave

Letter from Bob Timberlake

In my 75 years of hunting and fishing all over the world, I've never had a more helpful and enthusiastic fishing guide anywhere. Carl, The legendary "Trout Whisperer" is also that way with all my friends and everyone I know who has fished with him at Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, NC, The Refuge at Twin Rivers or anywhere. And he's a great friend." "I just can't wait to hunt quail, grouse, turkey or anything else he wants to go out and find - or we can just enjoy talking about it." "
